Sales Manager
A highly successful manufacturer and distributor of tradeshow and display products/services headquartered in Markham is seeking a highly professional Sales and Marketing Manager with 7 -10 years experience. We are looking for someone with fantastic sales management, marketing knowledge and experience, communication, interpersonal, sales and organizational skills. The candidate ideally is a dynamic, self-starter, who has the motivation and drive to be very successful.
The position includes working with a dealer network consisting of existing dealers plus developing new business relationships in an environment that is exciting and fast paced. At the same time maintain gross margin requirements, perform analyses on product line performances, and set monthly and annual targets. You must be willing to manage, lead and develop a small team into a successful selling machine.
Responsibilities
- Managing and Selling exhibit products and solutions through
- Business development, prospecting new clients and growing the customer base.
- Shadowing existing sales and telemarketing team and offering guidance to better selling strategies
- Maintain existing and develop new marketing strategies
- Developing & implementing market strategies that positively impact the bottom line
- Monitor and maintain gross margin within each product.
- Perform market/sales analyses on existing and new product lines
- Address major customer issues relating to service and/or products
- Leads and coordinates all sales targets and commissions
- Prepares and presents quotes/orders
- Manage and develop product/sales training
Requirements
- Experience in the exhibit and display industry is preferred but not necessary.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Experience with setting and achieving sales targets
- Experience with developing and managing marketing initiatives
- Fundamental understanding of costing and margins
- Selling Business to Business
- Positive, energetic and self confident
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Professional & Passion for selling
- Exceptional sales management skills
- Ability to lead a team
- Flexibility within a fast moving sales environment
- 7-10 years Sales Management experience
- Must be able to discuss and exhibit sales strategies
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, E-mail)
- Must have a valid passport and be able to travel
