After settling into Nimlok, Pam Jensen, the firm's new vice president of sales and marketing, did what smart business leaders do in a new position. Jensen and her marketing team gauged sales and marketing priorities. Their goal was to identify, interact, initiate and inspire at all levels of the sales and marketing continuum.
Jensen joined Nimlok from Comcast Networks, a Fortune 100 Company, where she was vice president, sales and marketing, and was responsible for building sales through an independent distributor network. Prior to her ten-year tenure with Comcast, Jensen directed sales and marketing operations in both established businesses and start-up operations and, brought a blend of traditional and entrepreneurial approaches to Nimlok.

Evidence of the new marketing strategy is Nimlok's Exhibitor Show exhibit. The trade show exhibit promotes one of Nimlok's major capabilities: reusability of client exhibit solutions. Their 2007 exhibit has been repurposed for the 2008 show to demonstrate the ease of changing a client's exhibit solution to best reflect ever-changing trade show objectives and requirements.
In 2008, Nimlok's trade show exhibit symbolizes a tree, emblematic of its "Year of Growth" marketing strategy. Like Nimlok's adaptable and functional solutions, the large leaf canopy of the exhibit provides shelter from fluctuating market conditions. Beneath the canopy is a central informal meeting island flanked by six case study demo kiosks. These kiosks form the "tree trunk" and portray Nimlok's knowledge, experience and capability, while demonstrating that these solid principles are the foundation on which all client solutions are built.
